I KNOW! I hope that they find a way to balance the movie like the book, where you see the architects building the fair at the same time as Holmes was creating his hotel. I wonder who they will get to direct? OMG I AM SO EXCITED!

Is it bad that I already have a vid song picked out and know what the titles will look like for a movie that doesn't have a script yet?

Hopefully, Leo can find a script writer who likes unconventional narratives. I think you have to leave the ending open though, or it takes away from the creepy mystery that these kinds of movies build up around a character.

Can we have a mini-series instead? It could be 6 hours and show EVERYTHING! *nods*

OK, that movie is going to be awesome, and Leonardo DiCaprio could really pull that kind of role off well. Plus, I'm totally biased because I live in the neighborhood where all that shit went down. Although, on the other hand, that might be a double-edged sword, because I will really be able to tell if they mess the setting up. :P

How much of that section of the city is still the old buildings? I know that they tore the murder castle down, but how much of the surrounding structures are still the same?
