It was a rough season for Flyers fans. I'm thinking some players won't be returning next year. I'm hoping Ilya "Lost In the Woods" Bryzgalov will be one of those to go. Good luck to your team! I'm rooting for anyone but the Penguins. ;)
The good news is that it was a short season. After experiencing a full 82 game version, I wouldn't wish that on... oh wait, the Bruins and Leafs exist, so yeah, I would wish that on another team. :P
Bryz does seem headed for a buyout, doesn't he? He burned a few bridges with the media, so even if Holmgren could make his contract work under the reduced salary cap... I'm not sure he'd want to at this point. Are there rumblings about what the team plans to do about the goalie situation? Mason doesn't seem like a long term solution.

i don't know... they don't have the best record against the Rangers, but they are finally playing Oates system, Ovi has found his scoring touch and their possession time numbers are climbing. They could have become hot at the perfect time...
While I have been HORRIBLY absent from online hockey talk this season, on account of RL kicking my ass and resulting in my having to watch virtually EVERY hockey game this season on a full-day delay (and also my boys...just..ugh...my poor boys *sniffle*), you can ABSOLUTELY count on my being over here, waving the Hab flag high for you! (Though it may still be on a delay occasionly, because RL sucks like that.) I will endure, as best I can to cheer your guys on their drive for 25 :-D
Oh man, sorry I missed this! I have been severely absent from LJ and DW, but I appreciate you thinking of me anyway. Trying to get back in the swing of things. :)
