Seven Generations, the band, rules.  Housemates consenting to have my house searched sucks.  My girlfriend being buddy buddy with cops while they are in our house is just irritating and annoying.  Having a life sucks.  I'll probably run away again some day.

In her defense, I tend to get very buddy buddy with cops just to try and make things go over more smoothly. I can see where you're both coming from.

Yeah, I can see that part of the argument, but on the other hand, we shouldn't be helping cops who are illegitimately* searching through our personal belongings feel welcome invading our space.

Yeah, definitely I agree with what you're saying. It's totally bogus that they were there in the first place, particularly because of how they "legally" made their way into your house.

I think the way I see it is, regardless of why cops are around, I don't want to provoke them or give them any weird reasons to focus on me.

Either way, the situation sucks.
