Two litres of Dr. Pepper Later...

Tonight I hung out at Dave's, played good old Red Faction on PS2, and reminisced about back in the day when I'd walk home everyday and play video games at his place after school whilst listening to epic rock albums (Rush, Matthew Good Band, RATM, Mike Oldfield's "Tubular Bells"). Since I had to drive, instead of drinking beer with the boys, I drank ( Read more... )

Rob and Maleaha - It's okay. We've all been there... I still enjoy listening to "Got the Life". And put your hand up if you've ever owned "Harlemworld" by Ma$e!

Does anyone know what the hell Geoff is talking about? THE POWER OF CHRIST COMPELLS YOU.

Personally I find that Incubus was possibly one of the few decent things to come out of the late 90's to the new century. The lead singer whom has a name I can never remember can actually do something resembling singing, whilst the rest of the band itself actually plays their instruments to an almost gasp-worthy harmonizing degree.

Dave Mathews Band is also something which deserves severe recognition for kicking too much ass, just because it does without introduction.

Honestly, the music is there, though you'd have to wade through much shit to get to it.

I guess I should clarify my opinion on Incubus: SCIENCE and Make Yourself were great albums, but then they got overblown with the excessive play that Drive and I Wish You Were Here got. Big props to DMB as well. They are muy bueno live...

I agree that the music is always out there. For every Nickelback, there was a Matthew Good Band and for every Limp Bizkit there was an At The Drive-In.

I was too busy listening to BSB, Aqua, Billy Idol, Wham!, most of the 80s and the Spice Girls to be listening to bad music.
