I totally lost track of time, and wow, we're just about done here!

So, as you may have guessed per my subject line...what now?What are your thoughts for this comm? Do we want to let it stand alone as a glorious reminder of a fantastic few months? Do we all want to take a breath and then start from the beginning again now that we know how it ends? ( Read more... )

I hereby reclaim my life. I just don't have the time nor the fortitude to read through the entire series again. I think this comm should stand as a monument to these wonderful books, though, and I wish we could tell someone from the Lexicon about it, in case they want to go through and pick out any details they have missed. If you wanted to do a reread next year, say, on the anniversary of the release of DH, I might be into it. On the other hand, I am supposed to be getting married in September next year, so I might not really have the time to do as thorough a job. It's been a good time, though, hasn't it?

We could keep using it for discussions on specific subjects that we think are especially interesting and/or confusing. There doesn't seem to be any other fora strictly devoted to discussing canon? And there should be a wealth of material here to work with.
People can suggest subjects and either we poll what to discuss or anyone can post a discussion.
Jo has promised more material as well, so that could make for a continuation of the reviewing at a later stage.

I also vote for that. I love to read everyone else's takes on the books. (And I might actually join in the discussions once in a while. I'm a bad member, haha.)

But hey, as long as this place doesn't get flooded with fangirls and their Mary Sue fanfics, I'll be happy. :p

I fell extremely behind in the chapters. I'd like to still be able to post about them with the appropriate tags. That way anyone who reads through the books at a later date can still read & participate in the discussion.
