Drabtabulous? Good sir, this is my best kimono of the finest silk! Hand-painted and passed down from my mother, good sir! It is worth more than your gaudy rings for its antique value alone, good sir!

Gaudy? GAUDY?!

These splendiferious rings are worthified more than your entire family, much less whatever excuse of a mother you have that giveulates rags like that. The CEO of a fine company as BlueCorp was does not wear "gaudy".

(OOC:...Yes. Yes, he does wear gaudy.)

GOOD SIR! How dare you cast aspersions on my family. I am a Fey, of the ages-old Kurain tradition, a name with a priceless heritage. And furthermore, good sir, I'll have you know my first husband was a jeweller, and he had more taste than to mount such jaw-droppingly large stones as those! Your flashiness is an insult to good taste!

In a manner of speaking, good sir. I have been so long removed everything old is new again-- new faces, particularly.

Your face strikes me as familiar, though. Have we met, good sir?

Maybe you remember me from my old show?

So we are, good sir.

And on that flashy good sir's other side, is another male. This is really a most improper arrangement.

Uh but Mother, isn't there just a nagajuban under your kimono...?

My precious Pearl, it is the principle of the thing I speak. A lady should not be made to disrobe in the company of strange men.

You... have not been allowing strange men to dress you, have you, such as Mr Wright?

Compared to the secret within your breast, Ms. Fey, revealed in all its wrinkled pettiness years ago, I think the mystery concealing it could not be less relevant. Your kimono is a secondary layer, not a primary one, protecting something that everyone in here who has any brains has been aware of literally for years.

Nice to see you back amongst the living.

I only wish I could say the same of yourself, good sir, but evidently I would not be fooling you, and that is the crux of the matter, is it not?

And good sir, I will not have such a strange and vulgar man associating with my daughter. You will cease all contact with her!
