Yeah, I apologize for "Too Far Gone". My muse suddenly threw that ending at me. (Although I'm sure an AU where that actually did happen exists and it's not just a mindfuck.)

I kind of figured writing this one balanced out TFG. Posted both of 'em on AO3 also, so we'll see what people have to say there!

Thank you! I was trying to keep the sense of char there, and really, with the angle of them having their scars, it seemed like a great opportunity for something affirmative between them. (I have the feeling Johanna returns the favor on him soon enough with giving him a chance to watch her touch him.)

Plotbunny for District Five, "power", is also nibbling at me.

I do love power play fic, though I'm staying away from the District Five prompt just because the mere mention of electricity squicks the fuck out of me. I dunno, just... it's a thing.

I might have an Effie plot bunny for the trains.

Yeah, I put the electricity mention in there specifically because I really didn't want to risk getting any prompts with people taking that meaning of "power" and trying to make it happen. I'm debating editing to remove that mention though, especially in thinking of H/J and their electrical wire torture.

But my bunny here has nothing to do with electricity, of course, and everything to do with (mild) power play. Given that of course Johanna was cast as the dominatrix bitch, and Haymitch was the arrogant "I know you want me and I'll make you say it" bastard, they both were basically expected to that that dominant role.
