For the District Five (power play) prompt at Wicked Winter.
Chars: Haymitch/Johanna
Title: "Yes". (Apparently to counter my long M'n'S titles, I'm now going for sheer brevity)
Rating: R. Hide the small children.
Warnings: Vague refs to more extreme D/s aspects in the past in the context of forced prostitution
Spoilers: Pretty much none.

Exactly what I was aiming for, and whew, glad that came across without us seeing into her head! I debated writing it from Johanna's POV but decided Haymitch made more sense here. If/when I write District Eight (bondage), that would definitely be Johanna since Haymitch would be the one getting tied to the bedpost. ;)
So I found it so interesting how they were using this role playing scenario to overcome that shyness. These two are an odd case--even in writing the K/P smutlets in HID, the contrast between how easily someone like Peeta can say something compared to Haymitch was pretty sharp to me as a writer ( ... )

I'm not gonna act like I'm not totally interested in seeing Haymitch in a submissive position. ;)
Re communication prompt: There's a suggestion for sex play floating around the D/s community where you get your sub off as long as they keep telling you all the things they want to do in bed, but stop touching them the moment they run out of words. Maybe that'd be something to try out too? Jokes could be prohibited. ;)

Yeah, Haymitch's issues are a little more specific in this case. But him as the sub will totally be interesting. ;)
Interesting scenario, and I was thinking about a scenario of "I don't do anything unless/until you tell me to", which kind of obliges the same. In my head these prompts run basically in concurrent order with AFAF (so they'd have been trying the power prompt while they were actually in Five, etc.) so Three is one of the later districts on the travel plan and would be more likely to succeed after they've worked through some of the other sexual challenges on the list first (Five in particular being a big one.)
