The bit with the crowd falling silent at the start of the fireworks show was just amazing. They'd been oppressed for so long and now can develop things like that, and people slated to become miners can become scientists and pyromaniacs. ;D

Yeah, for me it would have been more significant than even our usual "Oooh, aaaaah" at fireworks. And Thom is a total awesome budding geek/pyromaniac who wants to create cool things to make people happy. XD
