State of the Fic

1.)  AFAF.  As I posted last night, I've got probably 20 to 25 chapters left on this one.

2.) So Darkness I Became.  Slower going, kind of posting whenever I get an inspiration. Probably another three to six chapters.  Still working out some of the backstory on this one and integrating the Batman and THG elements to do justice to both.

Granted I don't really read Hunger Games fic AT ALL which possibly makes my opinion semi-invalid lol, but I say write the story you want to tell. It sucks if there isn't an audience, but if it's the one that you are driven to write, that's all that matters I think.

Trust me I do understand how you feel though - I seem to almost always write for either next-to-no-one-knows-it-exists fandoms or for unpopular pairings/OCs. So yeah, I rarely get comments/followers which can be discouraging, but I end up with stories that I enjoy going back to read.

Thanks for that. I always seem to be the one writing the unpopular stuff but at least I don't feel like I've written just to please people. ;)

Glad you're continuing SDIB and pleasantly surprised that SITFN will get a sequel. Looking forward to your prompt fill as well. :)

Yeah, I'm not done with SDIB, it's just kind of taking a backseat to Panem-verse stuff I have much better visualized at present.

SITFN will definitely get that Part II. Not sure there will be a Part III, etc., but for sure one more chapter!

I might submit the prompt fill for het_bigbang which means it would be a few months until you see it, but that obliges it to be a 25,000 word-or-more fic. And I think I honestly could write that much about that concept, since like with SITFN, the postGames stuff is as least as interesting as the arena experience.
