NOT THE FAR RIGHT, JFC. XD Although given THG canon, that is kind of funny in a black humor kind of way...

Nope, I figured the hair on the ALIVE DUDE on the right looks bronze...? ;)

I'm laughing now, I admit it. Poor "Finnick" gets only two appearances in the entire novel: being killed in battle and mentioned at graveside.

...let's face it, 18th century British soldiers are literal redshirts.

I figure Hamish needs a sunnier friend/brother who'll be a contrast to his snarky grumbling. ;) And I already know where and who Annie would be.

(resolves to dangle this enticement in front of you whenever I can) ;)

'Course, he'd probably be "Fergus" or something, not Finnick, but we'll know. ;)

HA! Finnick in a past life? I'm amused. Maybe it's just because my favorite book series has just revealed that the two (of what I consider three) leads have been repeatedly reincarnated through history, but I'm all for that line of thinking right now.

Now, if you have to write AU kind of things, *that* is an interesting one I'd like to see, like Finnick and Haymitch and the key players fighting this battle over and over through history. Or even that Finnick and Haymitch and Johanna were part of the original rebellion? Oh, man, now you have my head doing funky Terminator time travel. HA! *is far too amused*

Well, I actually wrote a historical AU/fairy tale crossover for 'em in the Seven Year's War, which is actually what's got my mental wheels turning trying to riff off that idea... ;)

(And unlike my other fic, this one is only like 6000 words.)
