Did you ever consider the fact that there may be less hostility if your kind simply stopped harming people? Ah, sorry. The vampire inmates are subject to the same power limitations as any other here. What special treatment have any of us demanded besides recieving blood from the dining hall besides food? Would you rather us seek blood from other sources? Hunt like the horrid creatures from whatever supernatural fiction portrays us from your own world?

But, here we have had killers and criminals in all forms. Humans murder humans. Aliens murder humans. Demons murder humans. Is is just immortals that you loathe or do you just hate indiscriminately?

It seems to me that whoever did the killing is the one making all your lives worse collectively.

Criminality has this effect on a community - through no fault of your own. That's why it shouldn't be tolerated with in it. Putting up walls to the rest of us will make this worse, because only one of you is responsible for this. If it wasn't you, don't let them punish you on their account.
