[Shinji] *is pretty much the coolest one here, yup*mei_playDecember 27 2006, 07:03:05 UTC
Shinji let himself relax a bit now that the tense little debate was over and the fighting had begun. Watching the others fight was calming somehow in its familiarity, particularly with Kensei since he seemed so very in his element in a good brawl. It had been a while since Shinji had really worked himself out, but he wasn't too concerned. He did his best to stay out of the hearts of fights anyway

[Tousen] I'm cool cause I have the cool hairstyle Mr. Altar Boy.afromaticDecember 28 2006, 09:00:53 UTC
He stumbled back slightly from the other's light counter but righted himself quickly. One couldn't manuever long if they weren't able to rectify any loss in balance when they had a lack of eyesight. Tousen moved to left and waited for Kensei to retaliate. The blind Vaizored sighed as he heard Kensei say how he wouldn't need to even use first release.
"So you won't use your release until I send you flailing about into a set of crates?" Asked Tousen in a dry tone.
[Lisa] And I'm the hottest one here.keikainDecember 31 2006, 07:05:07 UTC
"Tough talk for someone who uses such a cheap zanpakutou," Lisa turned her attention to the new vaizored. As much as she might like to think she wasn't still a bit bitter about what had happened during his trial run, she was.
She crossed her arms over her chest, leaning back against the wall. At least watching Kensei fight was never really a bad thing. In motion, especially when he wasn't using his mouth, he could actually give a pretty decent show, all fists and form. Among the vaizoreds, he was definitely one of their better fighters technically, although he could do little to match Hiyori's beserker furry or Mashiro's genius-level exellence.
[Kensei] Yeah, only if yer burning.luminamonJanuary 2 2007, 07:06:01 UTC
They all had their places in the Vaizored infrastructure, no matter how small it seemed compared to others. Kensei fell into his niche nicely, muscles loosening from the aggravated tension, body slipping into the more familiar and natural stances that were likened to the advent of a solid ass-kicking.
"Nah, I ain't going to need no release," he replied. "Can't go relying on zanpakuto and masks all the time, buddy." Kensei shook out his shoulders, shifting his weight from foot to foot, impatient for the fight the more than he stood idle. "Ain't always gonna have time to use the crutch and all that shit, y'know."
To illustrate the point, Kensei jabbed his first towards Tousen, a sharp shot of reiatsu thrown in with the motion, aimed for his face. Without the power or the time to make it a fully explosive version of his favourite base kidou move, any connection of the attack would feel like a slap to the face. A wake up call.
