Nico wasn't going to get a fist in the face, because Jason was fast asleep. He was curled up on his side underneath his blankets stupid icon, totally oblivious to the fact that he had a visitor. It was still awfully early, after all.
Not even thinking about what he was doing, Nico made his way over to the bed and crawled in, reaching to hug Jason's back against his chest. He was just a little desperate for that strange sense of comfort he'd come to find in Jason's presence.
In an instant, Jason's eyes flew open as his heart started to pound a little faster in fear. Instinct kicked in and kept him from moving, not wanting to let on that he'd woken up, and after a moment, the rest of his brain kicked in, and the cold feeling surrounding him became far more familiar. "Nico?" he whispered.
"Uh, hey," Nico whispered back. "I didn't mean to wake you, I just..." He didn't actually know how to explain that he'd needed a hug without sounding like a total loser.
