ok, so i'm leaving very soon (3:30 a.m.) for costa rica. here we go! i will be hangin out and pretending like i know spanish by noon tomorrow.

i just got my host family assignment for costa rica

my mom is a housewife, my dad is a truck driver, and i have a sister who is my age.

we have one dog and HORSES. yes.

yesterday it dawned on me that im leaving here soon. usually the summer feels pretty long and when things get started again, im pretty ready. mike starts school on monday. so the neighborhood i live in in denver has a lot of wanderer, stray cats. there are a bunch that i recognize and even chill with on the front porch occasionally. theyre pretty scruffy and dont want to stick around too long ( Read more... )

so this weekend was the mountainboard us open in snomass. i had an excellent weekend. highlights include driving with ted, camping at the top of boardercross, climbing an 18 foot jump to attach american flags, finding a birthday twin, finding a subaru buddy, and taking independence pass back home. the weekend was a nonstop party and i slept 14 ( Read more... )
