what lay beyond those doors wasn't quite what I had remembered. I had been here before, many times in my past. Yet, the building had under gone a lot of reconstruction since I attended the university for med-school. What I thought would be a stairway to the medical laboratories below the facilities turned out to be a long straight corridor. I didn't know where it would lead, but we had no time to waste.

The flourescent lighting flickered on and off like a spasmatic strobe light as we hurried down towards the long halls turning point. There was no knowing what would be around that corner in this labryth of a building, but we didn't have time to think about that. 100 yards, the sounds behind us re-assured our fears that we'd best hurry. 50 yards, not much further. 25 yards, please God just let this corner lead to something useful... 10 yards... the sounds behind us were even closer now. A faint glow was filling the corner as we came upon it.

No other choice now, we rushed around the bend, guns drawn ready for whatever it may be...

Hearts beating, muscles tense, we rush around the corner only to find…. Another door. “Quiet”, Andrew commanded. Everybody shut up; nobody dared cross Andrew, not after last time…. Pete placed his ear next to the door, after listing for a bit, he let out a small girlish giggle, giving all of us an uneasy feeling. “What’s so funny” asks Andrew. “Its Pimp music” responds Pete, “it looks like our old friend Dave has beaten us here”.
