table formatting in konqueror

After many years of wondering why the navigation part of our header for http://veganaustin.org/ doesn't show up properly in konqueror, I finally fixed it by setting display: display:inline-block for the td's and tr's and then fixing a smaller bug that I hadn't yet seen by setting the display:

Display for table/tr/td is table/table-row/table-cell. Konqueror probably has a bug in those display modes.

ok so that completely breaks safari and firefox on macs... not sure what to try next...
