That wasn't too bad, but then I decided to bike a little bit north of that. It was insane. There were all these old buildings, and all the streets there had weird street names that were fake, but looked real. The creepiest thing about it was the fact that there was absolutely no one at all outside. So after a few minute of that insanity, I crossed 45th street into the "triangle".

Basically, you drove across the private State Hospital grounds with the old buildings and non-public (fake?) drives. And in case you didn't know, "State Hospital" is a euphimism for "government-run mental institution" which might explain the "insanity", "creepiness" and "nobody outside" parts of your experience.

Yeah at first I just figured it was housing for some sort of hospitalized people, but once I saw the street signs like "N 5th st" and realized that there was no one outside that I somehow stumbled upon a mental institution. So I got the hell out before they saw me and realized I should be institutionalized.
