Deathy Yammers
So, once more the Tool who uses Deathy as a warm DPS body paged him for another run.
... Eh, great, so you can use him once more? Deathy will be sure to...
Hmm. ICC 25.
Deathy never did get Shadow's Edge created...
And at one point he was robbed of the one Blood he needed to make it, while he had all the other materials on hand. The raid leader promised him when ICC was current that yes, indeed, the next run you shall get your blood, and you shall make your Shadow's Edge. The next run, it went to open rolls despite Deathy's attempt to object, and the person who won it was a pally in full t10, and using an ICC 10 weapon.
Deathy was still in his ToC purples with Quel'Dalar, so... not to whine (though he may be,) Deathy could have gotten more use out of that upgrade than the paladin.
When he attempted to buy it off said pally, with an offer of, essentially "ALL MY GOLD PLEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEASE" he got a reply of "lol I've been waiting for months for it. :)"
SO WAS DEATHY! And technically, he had precedence over you if the RL was to be believed from the last run!
... Okay. Venting over.
Deathy got his Shadow's Edge. And promptly got the quest involving feeding it fifty souls (hell of a nerf there, Blizz, down from a thousand), so now he merely has to get the Unholy, Blood, and Frost infusions down. Surprisingly, Deathy still managed to pull 13k DPS (yes, yes, epeen and all that) while using a level 80 weapon and talented to be dual-wielding. Woo!
Oh, he'll have to collect the fifty shards when he's done with the infusions... That only drop in 25-man.
And all these quests can only be done in 25-man.

On the upside? He got quite a few achievements he did not have, and, well, he has the basis for his Shadowmourne. Which he will get.
Eventually.
Even if he thinks it's uglier than Shadow's Edge.
