Cake!

Well so far today I’ve had birthday cards, 4 texts inside 2 minutes this morning (bizarre!) and some lovely presents from Mr Lovely! I’ve eaten birthday cake (see pictures below) and an experimental apple strudel. No real food! I’ve done a little bit of work....and indulged myself listening to pandora radio and searching for cool tunes on soulseek

Aah, another current 93 appreciater?? My lovely Other Half got me that album as a birthday prez....I'm liking it a lot. They're one of those bands that people who liked the same stuff as me all seemed to like, so I went and got 2 albums in the music and video exchange (can't remember where you're based - if not london you might have no idea what I'm talking aobut..) and luckily liked them both.
It's going ok thanks, had only eaten cake until about 8pm, rock'n'roll...but should have been writing 2 lab reports that are due thursday, havne't done much so now have only tues and weds eve to get them finished in...plus am now quite drunk and watching CSI so no more work going to get done!

Haha! Yep we'll have a little xmas and birthday just me and you when we get around to it..I'll pencil in May!
I fell like it's such an effort to go and and do anything, I've always got assignments or reading hanging over me...but I want to make more effort to go to nearby stuff like D & B, so if I plan to go I'll call you and see if I can convince you to go too!

How is your course going? We all seem a lot more sociable than the certificate group. It's only been a term and we're already talking about religion and politics!

Sounds like you are on a good course :) Mine is going well - but it is soooo intensive! We don't socialise much, but I think everyone just wants to go home and sleep after a full weekend of classes ...
