I want a laptop for gaming and anime watching on the go. Like on break at work. One wounders, what is a good place to look for such a thing? How can I, someone who dosnt understand the innerworkings of the computer, make sure I am getting what I need/want? Why is it that www.alienware.com wants me to spend $3200 for the laptop of my dreams? I mean

You can get decent laptops for decent prices, depending on what exactly you want to do with it. My laptop was only ~$700 [From the Best Buy Thanksgiving Day Sale, mind you], and it does what I need it to. Not as nice as my new shiny tower, but still.

And I may be able to get a laptop from a friend for a decent price if it so amuses you. I'm not sure if he plans to sell it or not. I'll ask if you want. :)
