Spent most of the day on line trying to get help for my mother's cats who were left trapped behind. My poor, little Domingo, my little sunday girl cat, she is so beautiful. I'm so happy for you that you heard from your friend and will keep your other friends in my thoughts. Hope your cats are OK.

We will try to go to La as soon as they let people back in. I have to go see it for myself! My hubby thanked me for sharing New Orleans with him before all of this happened! It will be so strange to go back now!

Hey there. My mom has a family of cats. The mommy cat and her full grown babies they are pretty wild and hunt together like a pride. Two cats got left outside and the other two were stuck inside. More worried about the ones inside. On the bright side, they all have their claws and shots. Cats are climbing animals, good hunters, so I have not lost hope. My fave is, domingo, a dainty little calico cat. I wrote the Humane Society and a group called Noah's Wish and gave them permission to break into the house if need be. The storm surge or even looters could have broken the doors and windows so maybe they got out. I hope they will survive even if we do not get them back.
