I saw the news about the tornado and it broke my heart. That pain hits close to my home. Al from Esoterica, the psychic who did the best tarot readings for me, is still missing. Well there ya go! One day I will learn to do an lj cut but not today and not for a post dealing with people's lives. ;)

What a beautiful rembrance of special people. People who live/d with courage. Who work with darker energies. Who are not mainstream. Who understand. People who are necessary to the grand collective. Life's artists.

I hope Harold the chess guy is ok. He & I played chess in the street until 6am when I was there.

Does he wear a green hat? I think I know who you are talking about. So many of the people in New Orleans are only known by their nick names so I appreciated finding that list on nola.com.

I don't know. He's African-American. As far as I know he is one of two. The other one is caucasian & an ex-grandmaster or hardcore world champ of sorts. Harold is just small time. A nice guy though.
