They see me too

This post might seem odd to some peeps. Enough time has passed to where I can write about what happened concerning my Samhain ritual. Since I have had children and have less time to prepare, I make a serious effort to be less ceremonial in my rituals. It is hard because I learned how to do magick with a large group in a most ceremonial way. These ( Read more... )

Wow. Cool post! I was one of the ones who hoped you'd write on this... Very interesting & informative. Stuff I'd read cautions against working with elementals... Anything you'd like to write on that would be of interest to me.

Take care of yourself. I hope you feel grounded soon.

I feel much more grounded today. I may eat meat tonight which helps with that too. I have read "caution against working with elementals", but it is something I was taught how to do so it is hard for me to even cast a solid circle without using them. For me casting a circle is important, so many of my friends do not even cast a circle I guess I always feel I need the protection of doing it.

Food & meat makes total sense in terms of grounding.

I know I'm a curious pain in the rear....so feel free to not respond to questions I may ask. I know you're a busy mom trying to earn a living...but... I'm gonna ask in case you want to chat on things of this nature.... I would like to hear more about casting a circle. How you do that. What you mean by a solid circle. Why you feel it's important....and anything you might think to add to round out the topic.

It is ok. To cast a circle one calls on the spirits of the compass points. East, south, west and north. Some traditions start at the North. There is also the center. A solid circle is one where animals won't pass through and people can not see into. My cat used to sit in the circle with me and I have seen animals walk around it but not break into it.

It was tough going but I think it had some positve results. I felt strongly too that I needed to write about it.

I wish I had been able to do a ritual on Samhain. You can't possibly imagine the bitching and carrying on if I was found out however. Have you thought of asking someone who is a fire sign to help with the fire elementals? I have never had a problem with them. The water ones are the pain in the ass.

Well, the one fire sign I know here who actually has any ability is Richard and has chosen to be a pain so I do not want to ask him. X is a water sign and he is actually good at handling firey stuff. We were talking about that yesterday.

I didn't know X was into it. It is a shame that Richard is being annoying. I know he has natural talent and could probably be an asset. Oh well. Maybe he will prove useful at a later date.

If B ever saw a fire elemental, he would have a nervous breakdown on the spot and have to be committed to the home for cracked physicists.
