1) Public healthcare, though it eliminates competition amongst health care systems, assures that all of a country's citizens are well taken care of and, in fact, decreases the overall cost of health care. The benefits of government-run health care far outweigh the negative aspects. The health of our citizens shouldn't be treated as a capitalist venture, the same as a grocery chain or restaurant
