i'm feeling like moving to canada as well. let me know if you discover any good, affordable colleges up there.

my mom and brother want to move up there and take me. they're so afraid that our country will be attacked and there will be no troops to protect us (hence that draft we're all so scared of). they want me to look for universities up there.

I'm afraid soon the two term limit will be taken down and we'll have the opposite but equally powerful version of FDR. I'm scared about the whole thing really. And what really saddened me is that eleven states voted to ban gay marrige. At this rate the constitutional amendment will be simply a formality. I'm sad.

*sad face*

There is some hope for the future . . .
When I told Dillon that Kerry conceded and Bush was re-elected, he looked like he was going to cry. He wanted so badly to vote. He's made at Ohio.

So...what happens now? Syria? Korea? Nay, IRAN it is. That's where the oil really is and with Afghanistan and Iraq, we've got them surrounded.

i'll tell you what happens now. we continue terrorizing iraq. and yes, we do move on to iran. england chucks out tony blair - as they should - england pulls out of this pointless war. we're screwed. the rest of our coalition pulls out as well - romania has gotten an early start on that one, i believe. we're even more screwed. we're in over our heads.

meanwhile, north korea says, "hey! there aren't any troops, not even any reserves in america right now! what idiots! this is our chance!!! *evil maniacal laugh*" and they nuke us. they nuke us good. and then that draft bush promised would never come into place? it will begin. then we'll all be ultra screwed.

and that's why we're moving to canada. or england. i'm not picky.

yes, that utopia of canada. Nothing bad ever happens there.

Democrat Doomsdayers are so stupid.

it's not that canada is a utopia. it's that I've become increasingly more ill with the way things are in the united states. not just this election or even the past two elections. I think it's a fundamental difference between me and other people that makes me feel it may be necessary to live in another country.

is it really so hard to live with people you disagree with?

no, it's not just disagreement, though. I disagree with many people. The other people, I have different ideals altogether from. That makes mere disagreement impossible. I hate the way poor and ill are treated here. I hate things that happen to people who try to change that. it's not as simple as you make it sound. and it's not just politics that convince me I'd be happier in another country.

I respect that you disagree with me (and are willing to verbalize it), though.
