My favorite song written by the amazing Nishikido Ryo
Today was the one year anniversary for the Nishikido Ryo forum "Open Your Eyes," created by my dear friend Bibi-chan♥ Thank you for letting me be part of it. **Hugs**
Here is my translation of Ryo's beautiful song, "stereo." I've heard that there are translations of this song out there already, but I like translating things myself (especially Ryo stuff), and plus, I've been told that I translate really differently from others. The first time I heard this song, I thought it was so cute and beautiful. I started to wonder if Ryo-chan wrote this song for someone. And recently in an interview, Ryo-chan said some things about his song:
「これは、ウソの話をどれだけリアルに書けるかっていう、僕の中のハードルなんです。」
"This is a hurdle within me: how realistic I can make a fictional story. "
「まぁ、ホントの部分もあるでしょうけどね。」
"Well, but there may be some parts that are true."
