I am glad that you're not shouldering the day-to-day care of your mum alone, though. Good she's keeping busy and has made new friends, too.

I still miss Hamish Dog every day and it's been almost four years. They're so little, but leave such a giant hole in our hearts when they leave. And you made the hardest decision a pet owner has to make, and you did it because you loved him so very much.

you know this, but I'll say it anyway. You didn't kill Bailey, you gave him peace when he was suffering. Huge difference and an important one. Doesn't mean you don't miss him. Whenever I have lost one of my pets, I wonder why I open my heart to them because it hurts so much to lose them.

I'm glad your mum is getting the support and help she needs. I am sorry, though, that you are not. Much long distance hugs and love to you.
