This song pretty much describes how I was affected by being abused for 7 years as a child. Though he will probably never read it, unless I give the lyrics to him. I'm still up in the air about if I should. Any comments on whether I should or not

One good post deserves another! :-) I don't keep up with all of Josh's online friends as much as I'd like to, but when one takes the time to reply to one of my posts the least I can do is spend a little time in return.
I came across this post of yours. I don't know your situation, but it sounds terrible. Because I'm not aware of the details, I dare not offer specific suggestions. Still, I will answer your song with another, and pray that it gives you some comfort:

I'm no connoisseur of music, so I can't tell you who wrote or recorded the song. One web site I just checked out credits Amanda McBride with writing it, but I don't know if she's the one who recorded it or not. It's a very popular song, or at least was at one time. I expect if you heard it you'd recognize it. (Hint: It's a slow song. Read it REAL slowly!)
I did find this site with the music (http://www.ziplo.com/therose.html), but the pc I have at work doesn't have speakers so I can't check it out this morning.
I had no idea there were other Sedalia's (you learn something new every day, right?). I know some people who were originally from Sedalia (one of the supervisors here at work and the Associate Pastor at my previous church). I think it's only a couple of hours from Columbia.
My email address is on my main screen. (I understand that's not the best place to put it, which may be one of the reasons I get so much junk mail!)

So you're getting paid to reply to me... how sneaky!! ;) I wish I had a job I could get on the computer for more than taking someone's Taco Bell order.
Yeah, I didn't know there were other Sedalia's until a few years ago, I think. There's one in Kentucky, Colorado... I think West Virginia and I can't remember where else.
Any chance either of them lived here less than 13 years ago? Perhaps I know them.... now that'd be a trip!! And Sedalia's an hour (almost straight up) from Columbia.
Yeah, I know what you mean about the email, but if it wasn't on the mainscreen, then there's people that wouldn't be able to find it... gotta give 'em a break every so often ;)
