Saw some friends this afternoon who volunteer for the local animal shelter. They also foster cats and come into town on Friday afternoons with cats to be adopted. Today they were at the bookstore and had two female cats with them that need homes. One of the kitty-girls was Sadie and she was 11 months old. Her former "owners" got rid of her

Think of how we feel...we met and snuggled up with Sadie and Miss Lily!!!!!

Yeah...no room at the inn! I wish I could save them all, but it shall not come to pass. How you guys actually snuggled and managed to leave without one or both shows great restraint!

I just have to think about our own quirky boys and I know that another cat just wouldn't fit in right now. It was definitely tricky though since both kitty-girls were so danged cute!!!

OMG, it just touches my heart deeper than words can express when I see little guys like this. They need all the help they can get. I am glad to read about your friends who are so caring. Gives me hope about people!
