I know a man who runs agility in a motorized wheel chair. I figure I'll do that when my knees give out. It is kind of amazing, though - I'm much more concerned about my physical health since I got into agility than I ever was before. I really WANT to be able to continue to do this. And yes, my knees do hurt lately. No more agility for us until April because it just takes too much out of me to run indoors on hard surfaces, no matter how well padded they are (it's actually the standing between runs that gets me).
I'm glad you're getting better and will be running again soon. It's such an awesome activity!
I had to go to class without Cash the other night and someone lent me their dog. Pax was very good and got better about responding to me as the night went on, but it's just not the same thing without that bond you have with *your* dog.
