Just a data point: I live in a pair of black Brooks walking shoes pretty much all year round. Go through about 4 pairs a year, but I don't have any other shoes, really, except 2 pairs of Merrell sandals and a pair of black pumps (rarely used). In my case, it's my back that demands the walking shoes.

Yeah, me likes Keen. I have a predecessor of the Napa and an older version of the Presidio. Both are wonderful. The donation idea is good too. I hope they continue to be what sounds like a great shop!
