Yeah I think this is ridiculous....300 dollars isn't enough compensation for being squished. Maybe they should just let people move off campus...hey, there's an idea...oh wait. Money sucking whore...I forgot.

Should've known...right? Should've known that we'd get even more screwed than we already are at this school.

grrrrrreat... 6 guys?? in one apartment? with me, David, Branderson, and Randy??

oy ve. At least 300 dollars is about how much rent we pay over the summer. My question is, though, the price of the apt. during the school year is more, right? Why not pay us that much off the tuition? bah.

Well it's around 300 a month for the summer, honestly it's about the same during the school year, but dang for one month free out of the four that we will have to spend like sardines...with no choice...yeah I don't think that's proper repayment.

It works out to $381 per month to live in a 2 person (soon to be 3 person apartment) that doesn't include the mandatory meal plan. That means OC is getting $762 for that space when two people are living there(previous semesters). if you add a 3rd person that comes to be $1,143 per month... however they are knocking off a total of $900 off for one of the months which is $843 per month... and then the few weeks you are there in december.. they get around $1,143 (for two weeks!!).... because you are there for 3 months and then 2 weeks. isn't that exciting to know.... ?

to make things worse I will be paying about $350 ish for my two room about twice the space apartment off campus. That is including the electricity bill, but not the phone or DSL... that included I may pay around $400 a month, less actually.

The joys of a private school. Doesn't it piss you off?

Yeah so when my mom went to school here, these apartments were for four people (in the 1-rom apts.) and she said it sucked butt (not in those words.) Anyway, good luck with that

Yeah, I found out we had a third person in our room today and the girl I was planning on staying with and myself are both slightly hacked. This is horribly poor planning on OC's part. Although, I guess I can suck it up. My question, however, is this: Are they actually giving us $300 dollars, or are they just crediting it to our accounts?

my best guess?? A credit to our account...this really blows.

OC won't cap their enrollment. They won't even limit their enrollment to people who got passable scores on the ACT. As long as you shell out the cash, you can be Retard of the Year and still get in to OC.
You know that proverb about tallying up what you need to build a house before starting to build it? Seems like OC missed that one, and didn't give themselves enough time to complete this overhaul.
