Well, no more funage for us for a while. Seems it's time to get back to working on the house. We need to tear the down the brick around the front door so the stucco guys can come and do their thing. Once they're done, we get to start working on the irrigation system and landscaping for the front part of the yard. And when I say "we", I really ( Read more... )

I have so. many. shoes. But you know, no such thing as too many shoes. I also have quite a few pairs I can't wear anymore--I just can't wear a size 8 anymore and so I figure I'll give them to Twin City Mission or something. But then, I have to buy shoes to replace them, of course.

They're great and most of my purchases were upgraded to FedEx shipping just because they wanted to "thank me for being a customer".

Oh yes, Milly told me about Zappos but I just haven't checked them out yet.

I look at donating clothes, shoes, etc, in two ways
1) It allows those who can use my stuff to do so. Why should I keep a pair of pumps I'll never wear again, when they could make such a difference to someone else?
2) It makes room in my closet for *new* stuff!

Exactly. I think it's good karma--someone gets nice things that maybe they couldn't afford otherwise.

I've also gotten some really cute shoes on ebay. As well as a really cute purse.

God, I love accessories.
