This is a sad time. I sense my husband is pulling away. I think there are big problems. I can't fix them. His son is leaving for 2 years and he's losing it-and doing irreparable harm while losing it. I can control my reactions to the things going on, but I feel that everything is kind of flowing away from me and it's way bigger than me. It's like ( Read more... )

I don't think this is Woe is Me. It's taking stock in what you see in your life and figuring out what to do about it. I agree that it's good to get out and interact with people outside of your regular institutions (work, school, etc.) That's what I like about Crossfit. I get to hang out with different people that I wouldn't even know otherwise. We cheer each other on and work hard. But it could be anything - book club or whatever.

You're good people. Surround yourself with other good people.

I saw a Crossfit while I was traveling through Mass. You guys must be everywhere! And thx for your comment. "Taking stock" is exactly what this feels like. :)

You are good people. Can you take community classes anywhere? I'm thinking about doing some...if I can get off my lazy butt.
