If I hear one more asshole say to his kid, "She's not my mother, she didn't raise me!" as an excuse to not honor his wife on Mother's Day, I'm going to kick him in the balls and say, "Your Mom called, she said she's sorry she didn't abort you".

I haven't posted for awhile. Finally got home after driving from C-bus in Ohio to my home in California. We kept outrunning that horrid freezing weather in the Plains, that is now hitting Ohio and points east. Yikers. I woke up in New Mexico this morning and it was 15-degrees. I'm off to C-bus tonight. Going to catch a red-eye out of Ontario, CA. I can't wait to see the kids, grand kids, sibs and Mom, not to mention cuzzins by the duzzins, nieces and nephews, the whole shebang! It's going to be great Thanksgiving. I just read the most beautiful thing I've ever read on prayer. The author was addressing "how" people pray. He wished to stress that God knows what we need before we utter the words. Visited with a hemotologist today, which is  basically a blood specialist. It's been 15 years since my gastric bypass surgery and since irony enjoys kicking me in the head and I am  now too thin, after once being far too overweight, my blood chemistry is WHACK! I was staring at a picture of my late exhusband on my daughter's blog and the words came on my screen from my mouse, "connection lost" and my heart broke all over again. I guess I'm still grieving.
