Wow, no wonder we've been missing you on the local scene! Let me know if there's anything I can do with your Birthmom search. I can put you in touch with the lady who found mine. Also, the website that led me to it all. I still haven't met her in person, but it's enough that I found her and talked to her on the phone. She lives like 10 minutes from me now...

Your story and many others were going through my head when I started this whole process... I almost didn't go into the building when I got there on Monday... Glad I did, though... What's cool is that the Children's Home Society (the service that handled the adoption) will be contacting her for me so they'll get the response and then filter it to me. At least, I think it's cool... There's a part of me that would want her to respond directly to me... Then again, it's nice having a buffer... I dunno... I don't even have a really good reason for why I'm doing this other than it seems like the thing to do.

I'll keep ya posted...

It was very nice to reconnect with you as well. We'll have to have to do it again sometime soon.

I am very glad you are getting to know Joe. He is a great friend to have!
