So lately, I have been going beekeeping. It is going well. I am almost sure that I was stung by a bee as a child, and so am probably not allergic to bees. I should ask my mom about that though, because I am ALMOST sure. It's pretty neat...bees are amazing creatures ( Read more... )

How fun! Bees! I've always wondered about honey farm and how things work. Have you read "The Botany of Desire: A Plant's-Eye View of the World By Michael Pollan" - that same author that the server from Canoe was telling us about? I'm so intrigued by his work, but haven't read any of it yet.

Good luck with Wildfire! I hear it's such a good place, but I'm such a loser and have yet to even shop there even though I live close enough. Blah.

Hah! I just watched it...very funny. And beekeepers do lose it sometimes...even the guy whose been there for 25 years sometimes gets chased out of the beeyard (course, he's too hardcore to wear a beesuit most of the time)
