Fall approaches...

On Friday when I was out in the bush by Lake Cowichan, I noticed that some of the leaves were turning colour. Summer's almost over, and I can hardly believe it. At first, I thought the trees were ill or something--in a whole forest of replanted evergreens, the odd deciduous can look a little odd. Oooh fun! Thanks for the bee keeping update! I had no idea that what you guys did with the bees! I thought it was all in the Saanich area only. How cool!

And you know, I thought that exact same thing when I was out this weekend - how the leaves are starting to change colour even though they look like they've got some sort of disease at first glance. :)

Yeah, I know, hey? At first, I was like, my god, these trees are infected with some sort of strange virus that...turns their leaves to fall colours.
