You might want to think of it this way. If roles were reversed and you passed away, Jerry Falwell would mourn for you (as he would for any person regardless of faith or politics).

I wouldnt want pity or grief from him at all. Why be respectful to someone who built an empire consisting of hatred, intolerance and bigotry? Now, because he's dead means I have to pay him any amount of respect? Not getting it from me.
