Against my better judgement, I went to SLM and bought a motorcycle helmet. After reading some reviews, I dont feel quite as ripped off. It's an HJC CL-14. I opted to have the one w/out the removable face shield (CL-MAX) just because I dont trust some flimsy thing of plastic from breaking off if I fall down at high speeds. I say, the less moving

you should get the face shield next time

if you're forced to ride in the rain, or don't like the wind buffet or hey, just want to avoid the kicked up gravel in the eye thing, it's a good idea
