Wow, the Browns made the right move! They didn't blow another 14 point lead and lose at home last night. They only blew a 13 point lead. That's rill progress that is.

Also of note, a new phrase creeps into the NFL lexicon: The First Place Cardinals

You know, you been flogging this Cardinals-is-the-future stuff since Don Coryell was coach. Time to start talking up the Oakland Raiders.

I figure it's only a matter of time til Al places himself on waivers to free up some cap space and then -- look out!

yes, the Cardinals have been good. They'll take the division, although predictions of a Superbowl run is a bit wild. Their defense is too average still, not on par with their offense (who can play against anyone).
But the Cards are overdue to become one of the big dogs in the NFC, you are allowed to crow and gloat:)

what's really sad about the NFC West? The Rams are an embarassment and they're not the worst team in their division. we'll always have San Francisco..
I'm a big believer in that the stronger the division, the stronger all the teams in it will be.

poor Brady Quinn. Still, seems like he played well though.

I got family in LA, they still spit in the direction of St. Louis any time Georgia Frontiere comes up.

Yeah, the NFC West is not the powerhouse that, say, the AFC North is. Heh.

Yeah, Brady played well, but the defense had a few lapses. The main problem with the Browns is the play-calling is so lame.
