Ah Such Timing!

As ever The Village Show is scheduled for the day before the start of the new academic year. My coping strategy for this is by insisting on taking Saturday afternoon off as Friday evening through to Saturday evening is filled with set up and signage and general preparation and Sunday, being show day is a 7AM to 7PM on site being useful ( Read more... )

I am going to the coastal towns on the east coast of the county today, and that period of sunshine we had the last couple of years are over now. Hope you manage to relax this saturday.

That sounds like fun and I love the simplicity of he competition categories.
What flowers did you find for each category?

I'm going for Orange/ yellow flowers for the same colour class, Marigold, Monbretia and then maybe a Rose or some Golden Rod

The mixed bunch will be whatever looks good tomorrow morning.. but no berries or foliage as I got disqualified last year in that class :)
