Thank you, the house is Victorian but is built round a Tudor chimney and the structure of the garden , box walk and all is centuries older than the present house. The well is under the side lawn.

Thank you!, We're coming up to a quarter century of living here and we love it, the lilacs are one of my favourite things.

What can I say? You have a beautiful garden, beautiful characterful house and a beautiful location. The forget-me-nots, lilac and peonies (my dad grew several peonies in the garden of our family home) are lovely.

Getting there but the temperature is still wildly fluctuating, touch of ground frost expected tonight and it's quite nippy out there now
