Good Timing

... This morning I managed to get the tubs in my back garden sorted, tidied, rose bushes pruned, ste ... and was really pleased with the progress.  I was even happier when, about 5 minutes after I walked into the house there was a short sharp rain shower ... so, yes, brilliant timing

I try to do a small something in the garden each day - Everything has grown so much over the summer that this is mainly cutting stuff! But I feel bad pruning the roses when they are still in flower.

I'm with you on the Bramleys - really nothing comes close to them for baking recipes.

My flowers were mostly all over, so the pruning was easy to do! However I have left the flowers on the geraniums so they will need to be taken off onc they are over.

I still have to do the front garden, though.

Yes, Bramley is the only "cooker"
