Why put a new address on the same old loneliness. When breathing just passes the time til we all just get old and die. Talking is just a waste of breath and living is just a waste of death, so why put a new address on the same old loneliness?
This quote from a song I listen to helped me yet hurt me at the same time...It helped me because it made me realize that I keep setting myself up to fail or get hurt...It hurt because it made me look at life as a waste...which at times it can be. I dunno maybe it will do the same for u....maybe in a different way :)
Someone fairly new to me but in touch with what happened asked me something yesterday when I saw them. "It's all about what happens to the kid isn't it?" they asked. I never really was able to answer that. I'm pretty sure had the kid not been in the picture I'd have been gone though. Neither of them has had a particularly great life but neither of them has been left to rot in a car trunk either. Matter of perspective I guess. Not that Elaine has had that bad of a life. But then again, some of the situations she's had no choice to be in by the mere fact she is her mother's daughter. I love D dearly. I love the daughter just as much. I suppose I'd die gracefully for either of them. I think I'll blog a bit on the daughter for a spell later if I have time. I've decided what I write in here is my business and I don't really give a shit if someone feels slighted or abused by it anymore. It's my fucking opinion and not the ABC Nightly News with Peter (I sucked off the cameraman) Jennings as the First Chair.
