I met with the midwife for the first time yesterday and really like her. Our midwife last time was fully competent, but very clinical and business like. Cathy, the new midwife, is the touchy-feely earth-mama that I am really drawn to, and i am excited to learn as much as I can about birth from her. She was a nurse for 25 years in the medical field

I'm glad your midwife is just want you want and need. That's always such a good feeling.

Josh's best friend is giving him a hard time because I announced the pregnancy in church on Sunday (he also attends our church) and he was all bent out of shape that Josh didn't tell him right away. Boys. ;)
