On occasion I've helped out and answered questions in LiveJournal support. I haven't really talked about it in here in the past much though. It's something of a shame but it's becoming harder to justify contributing because of the way that rank-and-file volunteers are treated. The way such volunteers increasingly are sidelined, or have barriers

Darn that was a hyper-quick reply, only just posted the entry. Well, examples are legion. In essence though, the support sphere's increasingly 'them and us' nature plus restriction of information/materials beget the exclusion.
