A most unfortunate accident occurred the other day, one which has landed the young Itachi Uchiha in the hospital. He has had to undergo serious surgery and will be remaining at San Francisco General for the time being so that the staff on hand might tend to his needs and see that he makes a full recovery. I wish that I could say more, but for now ( Read more... )

Really...

This would be Sasuke Uchiha's brother. Correct?

Itachi Uchiha, shot? I'm sure he'll be receiving the best of care.

If nobody else has offered to check on his house for him I can certainly do that, I know he has a cat. When would be best to visit him?

I would suggest visitation throughout the afternoon so as not to interrupt his periods of rest.

Hmm...Aren't you disrespecting the privacy this man and his family deserves in this particular situation with this message?

I do and as a doctor you should know better to respect the privacy of a patient not to mention that I think this will break the Hippocratic Oath that doctors are supposed to take.

Technically speaking, young lady, the Oath has not been broken. I have not divulged information to which others may use against the young man in question - nothing of which was not already known to the public prior.

To be quite honest, it was necessary for me to reach out at this present time because previous attempts to contact those closest to the patient were to no avail. As a last ditch effort, we had no other choice but to consider these means.

I am quite aware that it is perhaps not a favorable option, but given that the young man had responsibilities that needed tending immediately, ones that require human care, it could no longer wait.

Why won't they let me in? Or even just tell me that Itachi's okay?! He's my friend, dammit!!

You can see him tomorrow afternoon, I will make sure that they admit you. Do not ask him too many questions, however. He is still recovering.
