My Spike loves Buffy. Period.

Three versions of the same base manip with different coloring and styles. A small (but heartfelt!!) salute to the character that captured my imagination more than any fictional character - in any medium - ever has and, quite probably, ever will.

Hee! I think there are a number of us who would describe our love affair with Spike this way. He's just so fascinating and frustrating and complex. From time to time, I've thougght I've really come to understand him. Then someone posts another essay that points out and explores another quirk or aspect, and I have to weigh it and decide how it fits into my version of Spikeness.
